Throughout her international career in Europe, Asia and the Americas, Vanessa Moriel has helped a number of firms in the Retail, Energy, and Automotive/Industrial sectors build strong teams. For more than a decade, she has been conducting executive searches in Asia and the Greater China region helping some of the world?s largest multinationals extend or turn around their operations. She and her team have been some of the pioneers in executing global, multi-country and regional searches for clients located in Asia. Vanessa is finely attuned to the demands of the region and has, over the years, built an extensive network by helping some of the world's largest multinationals extend or turn around their regional and global operations.

Ms. Moriel lived over 10 years in Asia. Almost 7 of those years were spent in Shanghai where she founded Human Capital Partners (HCP), an executive search company, in 2004. HCP quickly became one of the leading players for searches in Automotive/Industrial, Energy and Retail sectors in China. In 2007, HCP integrated AIMS international, the world's largest executive search organization. Human Capital Partners has been a leading provider of executive search solutions mainly supporting global firms in their China and Asia operations. In 2008, she became the Asia-Pacific Board Member for AIMS International and moved to Hong Kong. Starting in 2000, she was the Head of Executive Search for China with Fiducia Management Consultants where she built, recruited, trained and grew the China team.Prior to joining the executive search business, Vanessa worked as a consultant with Proudfoot, getting hands-on experience with the whole range of activities in B to B and B to C companies from purchasing, production, and quality, to maintenance, distribution and sales. She helped restructure firms in the Americas where she has worked with companies operating in a variety of fields including: paper, textiles, wharehousing, maintenance, shipping, tabacco, alcohol, ready to wear, retail, homeware, automotive, food, and pharma. Earlier in her career, Vanessa worked for Frito-Lay (PepsiCo) in Mexico where she was charged with monitoring, evaluating and forecasting business results which enabled management to take strategic decisions.

Vanessa's experiences with Schlumberger - Coiled Tubing, one of the world's largest oil and gas engineering firms managing day-to-day operations on the field with the engineering team have given her the right tools to understand the intricacies of technologically advanced engineering projects. Her work with Schlumberger brought her to England for training. She was later based in Vechta, Germany.

Vanessa Moriel (B.Eng, Chemistry) Studied Chemical Engineer at the Institute of Technology and Superior Studies of Monterrey. She was also a student at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada and at the University of Stuttgart, in Germany. She has published a number of articles in international magazines on challenges with recruiting and retaining key staff in China. She is fluent in German, Spanish and English. As a child, she also lived in Grenoble, France for a short time.

Ana Ramos is the Managing Director for AIMS International´s Shanghai office. Prior to joining the recruitment industry, she worked more than 6 years in an automation and engineering company. She has a background in business & marketing and her expertise and experiences are principally in Asia and China assignments and the APAC region, moreover she has also effectively completed global assignments.

In the past 5 years, since she joined the industry, Ana Ramos has successfully supported clients to identify, persuade and integrate key performers for a variety of roles including: APAC R&D Director, Global Business Development Director, Manufacturing Manager China, Engineering Manager, APAC Human Resources Director, VP Sales Asia, CFO, CEO China, MD China, Plant Manager, Sales & Marketing China, Business Development Manager, among others.

She has supported clients in diverse fields such as: Energy, Building Materials & Technologies, Automotive, Automation & Control, Chemical, Robotics, Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Heavy Machinery and others.
